BOOKS

  • The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer

Changed my life and how I think. To learn more about this book and what it taught me, read my last blog post! https://healthy4happy.wordpress.com/2018/08/22/from-suicidal-to-spiritual/

  • Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg

A super fun, easy and light hearted read. I loved getting lost in this story until I fell asleep with the book in my hand.

All Fré products are designed for women who sweat! They are made with all vegan and cruelty free ingredients and just feel so clean and natural on my skin. This mask has been my favorite because 1) it is a really pretty blue color 2) I can feel it getting into my pores and cleaning my skin 3) it works!

  • Beautycounter Bronzer

https://www.beautycounter.com/product/radiant-all-over-bronzer

I LOVE Beautycouter and what the company stands for so I actually just became a consultant! The company is all about spreading awareness for clean makeup and skin care and sells incredible products that are actually healthy for us! The foundation has no chemicals that are harmful to our bodies and our health and It looks so natural and applies nicely to my face.

  • Eyelash Curler

Seems pretty basic but I live under a rock when it comes to things like makeup so I just recently started using one of these and wow, my lashes love a good curl.

  • Frank & Whit Dry shampoo

https://franklinandwhitman.com/collections/dry-shampoos/products/east-falls-dry-shampoo

We all know that feeling when you workout too close to the time you’re supposed to be somewhere and washing and drying your hair is just not going to happen if you want to be close to on time. Dry shampoo is my literal savior but sometimes that stuff smells nasty and just doesn’t make you feel clean at all. This is why I love the dry shampoo from Franklin & Whitman, because it smells amazing and your hair genuinely feels and looks clean after using it.

PODCASTS

  • Almost30

Krista and Lindsey are the funniest and realest girls out there. They have a huge variety of guests and topics on wellness, health and spirituality.

  • The Balanced Blonde

I mentioned this podcast on my last favorites post from winter, but this will always be my favorite podcast. I love Jordan (I honestly believe our souls are connected and that we were sisters in a past life) and all of her guests and the amazing, mind blowing topics they discuss.

  • Highest Self

Ayurvedic goddess, Sahara Rose, talks about modern spirituality and ayurveda. She is my spirit junkie queen and I LOVE the topics they discuss.

  • Glowing Up

Listen to these episodes and try not to pee your pants… it’ll be hard. Caroline and Esther are the funniest girls alive.

FOOD & DRINK

  • Amazing Grass Protein Superfood Powder, Chocolate Peanut Butter

https://thrivemarket.com/p/amazing-grass-superfood-protein-powder-chocolate-peanut-butter

The first protein powder I actually like that doesn’t make me feel like I’m eating chalk. This powder is actually delicious (sometimes I mix it with water and eat it like soup…I wish I was kidding). It’s really good mixed with plant-based yogurt and in oatmeal. In a serving you get 20 g of complete protein, 7 Alkalizing greens and 2 servings of fruits & veggies. It’s vegan, gluten free, non GMO and has no added sugars. Plus it’s chocolate peanut butter flavored…I mean, come on.

  • Chameleon Cold Brew

https://www.chameleoncoldbrew.com/product/ready-to-drink-mocha-10-fl-oz/

Iced coffee has been my god sent, my savior, my reason to wake up in the morning and my daily Jesus juice. That was intense but it’s true. But it’s not just normal cold brew coffee that makes this juice so Jesusy, it HAS to be chameleon cold brew… and when it’s the mocha flavor… GIIIIRRRLL it’s dangerously good.

  • Homemade Almond Milk

Get into your amish feels and soak those almonds overnight, blend them up in a high power blender with water, a pinch of salt and some vanilla extract, then milk that bad boy using your nut milk bag and bam almond milk. Saves money, plastic and your taste buds from crappy watered down store bought almond milk.

  • Spread the Love Peanut Butter

https://spreadthelovefoods.com/collections/products/products/spread-the-love®-naked-organic-peanut-butter

Love the company, love the owners, and the peanut butter is out of this world. That’s all.

  • Teami Relax Blend

Okay so I am not the biggest tea drinker, I usually find it to be boring and tasting like grass. But the teami relax blend is actually delicious and you don’t have to add anything to it. I just strain the blend into my teami bottle and drink it every night before bed. It also knocks me out and gives me the best sleeps.
I like to share my favorite things with you all because typically these things either make my life better or easier (or both!) so of course I want you all to know about them too! I really try to only share products from companies I can really stand behind and support. I  also am super fortunate to have the opportunity to work with some of these companies. With that said, I was under no obligation whatsoever to post about these items on my blog, I honestly really just love the products. If you have any questions about any item I shared, feel free to reach out and ask questions! Dm me on Instagram: @health.4.happiness or comment below. I hope everyone had amazing summers and I look forward to discovering some new favorites along with the new season!
